Preston Andrews

My name is Preston Andrews. I was born and raised in Durham. I’ve been married to my wife Tammy for 15 years and we have a wonderful 13 year old son, JP. I have served as a deacon at my church and as the Awana director and leader for the last 15 years and now serve with the youth group. About 9 years ago the Lord convicted me of my complacency and need to intentionally go into the community to the areas of high crime, drugs, and prostitution to preach the gospel. For over 7 years I have ministered at a local abortion clinic on a weekly basis as well as to many in AA as they both meet in the same building. My desire is that none should perish and believe that we are called to look for every opportunity to lead people to faith and repentance.

Amy Young

Hi! My name is Amy Young. My family is from suburban Chicago. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jamie, for 29 years and we have 4 beautiful children and a sweet daughter-in-law, Amelia. I have reached out daily at the local abortion clinic for the past 16 months and weekly prior to that. While listening to a message by Pastor Mike Winger, I was strongly convicted that I needed to do something more than just vote pro-life to defend the unborn. That’s when I saw a Facebook post from Preston showing me an opportunity to do that at a local clinic. Other ways I have been involved in ministry include being a youth group leader at church and I have also loved being a part of a group called Pray & Go started by our former youth pastor where we gathered to pray on Sunday afternoons and then went into our community to preach the gospel. Having scheduled times to intentionally go out, being equipped to do this, and surrounding myself with mission-minded believers has been a huge encouragement to spur me on in my own walk with the Lord. I went from sharing the gospel a handful of times each year to hundreds of times a year. My joy and passion is to encourage moms and dads to choose life for their babies at the local abortion clinic and to share the message of eternal life through the gospel.
